My first brush with the kitchen was probably when I was in middle school, helping amma make chutney or dosas. Over time as I stood by her making lunch or dinner I imbibed a love for making food. It wells in me when I make something that K likes or when I try a new recipe that catches my fancy.
I am a reluctant chef though since everyday cooking tires me. I am best when I cook out of love and not because I have to.
